Townsville Airport (TSV) is located just 5km from the city centre. There are a number of transport options available to make your way into the city once you land.
Get a taxi/rent a car: Taxis are available right outside the arrivals end of the terminal. You can expect to pay about $25 to get into the city. If you would rather have your own car to explore in, rental cars are available at the airport.
Get an Uber: Townsville will welcome Uber from 16 March 2017. The Uber pick-up area is located in the rental car park, just follow the signs.
Catch the shuttle: The airport shuttle is the perfect way to get from the airport to the city, your hotel or to the Magnetic Island ferry terminal. The shuttle starts from $10 for a one way trip. Bookings are essential, visit http://shuttletsv.com.au/.
