Melbourne Airport (MEL) is 23 km northwest of the Melbourne CBD or just a half an hour’s drive by car or taxi. If you choose to park your car in Melbourne, long term parking is available for $17 a day. Alternately, the Skybus will get you to the airport from Melbourne city centre for $30 return. There is no train service to Melbourne’s domestic terminal.
It is about a 20 minute drive from Brisbane’s CBD to Brisbane Airport (BNE). Alternatively, Brisbane’s Airtrain is a 19 minutes one-way journey from Central Station or around 87 minutes if you are coming from the Gold Coast’s Nerang station.
