Just half an hour’s drive by car or taxi, Melbourne Airport (MEL) is 23 km northwest of the Melbourne CBD. Park your car in long term parking for $17 a day or take the Skybus from the city centre for $30 return.
While both short and long term parking is available at Sydney Airport (SYD), it is usually cheaper to take public transport. The Sydney Airport Link is a railway system running every 15 minutes from Central Station.
