Where to stay in Coffs Harbour
Coffs Harbour City Centre
From Coffs Creek to Park Beach, the city centre is walking distance from some of the North Coast's most popular swimming spots. After your daily dip, wander into town for a bite to eat from one of the local cafés or, if you're a serious foodie, treat yourself to a meal at one of Coffs Harbour's best restaurants. For a change of scenery, take a day trip to Nambucca Heads and get back to nature at Gaagal Wanggaan National Park.
If you're planning on spending most of your time on the sand, skip the city centre and head to the bohemian beach towns that run along the coast. To save on your stay, set up camp at Emerald Beach or, if you're celebrating a special occasion, book a room with a view at one of Korora's luxury resorts. Not only home to spectacular scenery, you'll also have your pick of some of the best bars in and around Coffs Harbour.
Located just a short drive from Bongil Bongil National Park, Sawtell is the place to go for outdoor adventure on the North Coast. For a closer look at the local wildlife, lace up your boots and tackle the Bundagaree Rainforest walk, which has plenty of rock pools to help you beat the heat. Between bushwalks, head over to the Sawtell Golf Club for a couple of drinks on the green.
