Night Noodle Markets
Smack bang in the middle of the city, there's a reason Good Food Month's Night Noodle Markets are a cornerstone of every Sydneysider's October schedule. This hawker market set-up sees around 40 of Sydney's favourite food outlets slinging fresh Asian eats alongside live music and LED light shows. Noodles are only the beginning.
Sculpture by The Sea
Celebrate the return of sunny days and warm weather with a trip to Bondi for Sculpture by the Sea. Held every year between October and November, this event isn't just for arty types – there are plenty of fun and interactive pieces that everyone will enjoy, all served with a side of amazing coastal views. Head down between Monday and Friday to avoid the weekend crowds.
Inner West is best and the Newtown Festival is here to prove it. This much-loved event is organised by locals, for locals, with all proceeds going towards those who are doing it tough in the community. Among the hundreds of food stalls and the stellar line-up performers, the Newtown Festival is also home to the famous Dog Show – a family-friendly event that delivers cuteness and chaos in equal measure.
