Once we land at the Gold Coast Airport (OOL) you have more than a few options for getting to your destination:
Gold Coast Airport Shuttle - SkyBus provides Gold Coast airport transfers between Gold Coast Airport and over 500 hotels along the Gold Coast – from just $18 one way with FREE WiFi.
Hop on a Bus - the most used bus service in Gold Coast is run by TransLink. You can book ahead and buy your tickets online, and you’ll be able to get connecting buses to pretty much anywhere in the surrounding Gold Coast area. If you’re looking at travelling outside of the Gold Coast-they do that too.
Take a Train - Translink also runs the train which can get you where you need to be. Check the schedule for the Gold Coast Line on their website.

If you want to go snorkeling or diving off of Cook Island, you can do it here. If bush walking and hiking is your thing you can visit Mt. Warning (a 2 hour hike to the top) or Mt. Cougal to explore the wildlife and take in the scenery.
